Yeah I've had .45 handguns in the past. My "main" handguns are 9mm. This was brought in to be more of a toy than anything. So even if I don't end up loving it, it's really no big deal. I still have my 9L Pro Series (which I absolutely LOVE to shoot) and my Shield that I carry.
i have mixed feelings on .45. i grew up with my dad touting it as the best handgun round of all time. (qualified with a grease gun while in an armored unit, and carried a 1911 in a shoulder holster everyday while in vietnam) yet i definitly still see the short comings of the round compared to other calibers.
There will be no disparaging of the venerable .45acp round. I have spoken. Sorry..just showed up for the conversation.
As I said, not a bad round, not at all, just will never will be my first choice. Same as the 1911 it's a GREAT handgun but not in my top few anymore.
Bought a new Bosch laser level today. Was necessary to level out a beam and remove the camber that the guys who set it put in it by installing it upside down. How you put in a 58’ beam upside down is beyond me.
So far I have been supper impressed by this thing. It appears to be really easy to set up and use. I’ve flown it about a half dozen times with out any real issue. I’ll try to get some sample pics and videos up. Only issue is it’s not a fan of cold weather. Specifically like most electronics the batteries don’t like cold. My understanding is people have had issues where the battery gets cold and the voltage starts dropping. The drone perceives this as the battery being out of juice and it will emergency land or in some cases have fallen out of the sky.
Got a new Charter Arms Classic Bulldog. I am believer in air in blood out so only have 44 up in center fired hand guns.
Wish I still had a stainless bulldog...my mother's stupid husband just had to have it..And me trying to be welcoming into the family and all...
