I really dig this lighter and would've bought one already except that I have not been able to find replacement wicks anywhere. If I've read correctly online, the ones available for Zippo lighters are too short. Is this something that has been addressed already and I've somehow overlooked? Thanks for being here.

My titanLIGHT just arrived in the mail. Perfect timing too, I'm headed out into the brush this afternoon with a friend. I'll get a chance to tinker with it while we're out. If I heard you correctly @shaneadams90 in another thread, I can always add an extra cap full or two of fluid just to be sure this thing is as full as possible? :D

I'd love to give the Titanlight some extensive feild testing :D
How many lights to a fill up - I smoke 1.5 packs a day

Wind resistance - will it light a cigarette at 70mph on a motorcycle

Waterproof/resistance - lashed to my kayak and left hanging overboard:oops:

You should ask @Patrick Rollins about that.....or better yet ask @Jeff Randall (the human flame).....

I was very specific with Patrick.... "Patrick fill 2 of the bottom caps full..no more".....Evidently Patrick heard "Fill that sucker to the brim.....then add a little extra for good measure."....... then he handed it to Jeff.

Lol! That's a hell of a nickname, the Human Torch. I think Batman is cooler but it really doesn't fit for this particular scenario. While I laugh about it, after reading about their experience and a few others warning me not to overfill, I still managed to briefly light one of my fingers on fire. How, you ask? The wick didn't fully saturate initially and it wouldn't light. So I decided to remove some of the filling to add a "splash" of extra fluid to the wick and filling underneath. It certainly lit up after that. Serves me right for being a smart ass.

The titanLIGHT worked well. I like having a windproof lighter (and it was a windy day to test it). Nothing is wrong with a Bic or Zippo, but this is an awesome lighter. So long as it stays true to being waterproof/leakproof it's gonna stay in one of my fire kits. I'll likely pick up a second. The only gripe is a very minor one: what to do with the cap? I gutted my favorite cord - Paracord Planet reflective orange - and used one of the small @5col ranger bands to rig up a lanyard.

@Kaw-liga I just make a habit of stowing odd bits in my pockets...I've set too many items down in the woods and lost them forever....that's one reason why I tend to gravitate towards bright colors and also why I've learned to just put the cap in my pocket...

Thanks man! I'm seeing why so many of you guys love this lighter. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. March was windy, as usual. On a few occasions this little thing would have saved me a considerable amount of time.

Refills for the titanLIGHT will come. We just have other more pressing matters to take care of right now so it got pushed to the backburner.
