We were back out at Little River Canyon's Weaver Point today replacing a loose anchor bolt (with permission from the Park Service) since this is a popular place for recreational rope folks. We decided to practice a few basic skills and try a couple of different ways of doing things while we were there. Placed the gin pole just for setup practice and ran a two-rope system instead of single rope for belay practice. Couldn’t ask for better weather or a more beautiful place to spend the day.

.....first you need permission of the ship's Captain.... if it is a Pirate accept you will probably just get the cutlass.... sorry, low hanging fruit.

Looks like a great day out. Far more technical than any of the rope work I have done !!!!!! I still recall doing short descents with a Swiss Seat and the rope wrapped around my torso !!
