    hey @FortyTwoBlades

So awhile back I bought one of your axe pucks and the little file you have for axes and I say I like them. The other sharpening tool I carry is the worksharp field sharpener. I’m putting a little sharpening kit to go in a centerline system saw pouch. The puck obviously does not fit. I tried the ez lap stone and hone that come with the Esee repair kit but after one sharpening of my council tools hatchet the medium has no grit left. It’s as smooth as the fine. Anyway I am unimpressed. Do you have any suggestions for a small stone like the puck that would fit in my saw pouch? Thanks! I can share photos and dimensions of the pounce if needed.

I’m looking at the attic fox pocket stone and field stone. Do you think the pocket stone would be enough?

The field stone would be a very solid bet, and can be used like a puck or like a bench stone, depending on your need. The pocket stone is good for small touch-ups, but the field stone size is more useful and versatile overall. You can get quite a lot out of a small stone, but it requires a whole different approach compared to even slightly larger stones if doing anything much more involved than a minor edge-freshening. :)

Hey thank you! I think I’ll order both and try them out!
