I have a Medeco M3 deadbolt for my room. :) Good luck picking that one. They have the rotating pins, plus the multiple side bars.

You buy that vise from bosnian bill? lol

Lock has a cool keyway. I've got an assa abloy I've been trying to pick for the last 4 years. False sets all day, but no open. I have read people have raked it into the false set, but it took pretty decent skill to pick it open from there.

I've got some new goodies inbound! A set of dimple picks from Sparrows and a couple of locks to go with it. I also picked up a few replacement picks from Peterson.

I want to have a go at dimple locks. Sparrows makes nice stuff. Always wanted some peterson picks, but lack of cert makes purchase tough.

Any security pins in the brinks?

Those red safety locks are a joke lol. Although I had one that tricked me 10 times in a row, picked it easily every time. But the stupid shackle was broken.

The brinks is an easy one. Only one spool pin in that. The loto was 6 pins all spools, and the American is a 5 pin all serrated. The yale/ace mortise lock is a 5 pin but only 2 spools in that one.

It's ridiculous how easy the Masterlock 175 is to bypass. And a great example of how they use weight to create the illusion of security.

So very true, this is why I dont use master locks. Construction wise they are reasonable, but resistance to bypassing- they are atrocious.

My set of sparrows dimple picks arrived today. If tracking is to be trusted, I should be receiving some locks to try them out on tomorrow! 20190201_174446.jpg 20190201_174501.jpg

The Decoders are very thin and can bend easily, but by necessity of course. I also have a pair of their Quick Sticks and those are thicker/stiffer. But both are so small and light and pack flat that you can carry them in a wallet, etc. and not even know they're there.

I'll have to check those out. I have a bogota set and the mace picks from sparrows, but neither of them quite hit the sweet spot between easy of carry and usability.

Shouldn't drink and pick. I had a few too many old fashioneds and bent my peterson reach beyond repair.
