This is my favorite piece to date. It's nothing fancy, not rare or high-end. But it was my grandfather's, and to me, that is everything. It's got the same handle and patina that it did when he had it. All I did was restore the handle and sharpen the bit. The best part are his initials stamped right into the head. . No name head Bent handle was straighten using heat, no water or steam Handle was treated with boiled linseed oil and then a coffee/walnut stain Leather mask that was handstitched plus uses brass Chicago screws. .

Something somewhat pack able. Not a full size tree felling axe but a little bigger than a hatchet I think.
