    Kind of looks like a speckled kingsnake.

    Or, it could be a rattle headed copper moccasin.

    Not reptiles, but cool nonetheless. Found these two on a patch of mushrooms while squirrel hunting this weekend.

    Heading out west to spend a week hunting, heat is suppose to get up around 40DegC over the weekend, it will probably bring out the bloody snakes..

    One a friend sent me yesterday....

    .....asked if I could ID it.... :D

    Best I can tell it is a juvenile Eastern Brown Snake....I asked why she needed to know (ie it just bit me/child/dog) but her young son found it deceased in their yard (cat most probably). I explained what it was and she was a bit "Oh Dear" :eek:
