Very nice. I did their test track with a Discovery several years ago. Still wouldn't buy one though. We did some vehicle recovery work at the house this past weekend:D

    Always wanted a Defender.

The 90 is cool but my weakness is the 110. I like our Toyota but under the right conditions, right price and enough tequila I'd probably drop some money on a 110 and then regret it.

They're got a very nice facility at Biltmore. We played all day and didn't even get close to do a 1/3 of the trails they built for their Land Rover school.

Well, I guess not. Looks like you spent all day trying to get it out of the ditch.

Do they ever let you drive them?

Uh, they're land rovers. They don't run 90 percent of the time.

I'm a Toyota guy, but I'm also with you on the 110. I've seen a few that have tempted me. However, this is by the far the Rover I think I'll regret missing out on for the foreseeable future...

90% of all Land Rovers ever made are still on the road...

    ...the rest made it home.

The 110 reminds of the old-school Land Cruisers. I'd like an old-school Land Cruiser, but finding one is good shape that isn't insanely expensive is hard to do. Your TRD Pro would make quick work of the Land Cruiser trails.

Awesome we are members there, they have a great skeet shooting course and kayaking also. Haven't done the Landrover yet but it's on the list.

You have to do it - helluva lot of fun. Email them and tell them we sent you. Greg and Ben are superb instructors.

I think the downhill assist on the LR4 is better thought out than Toyota's crawl mode, but other than that I like the 4Runner. Yes, our 4Runner would have done everything that we did yesterday in the Land Rovers but it's cool getting to ride other people's high dollar machines and not worrying about them. :)

No matter how much they stay in the shop, Land Rovers are cool machines. Pelton and I are talking about doing an off road deal and were discussing what vehicles. I said Toyota and he replied "too reliable." So, the beauty of Land Rover is they are indeed an experience. You just never know what's going to happen in a LR.

I was there a few weeks ago and wondered why all the rovers were parked there.

The old one conjur up images of old Africa.

LR3, LR4 ...nice vehicles. LR4 was Peterson's 4-WHeel mag's car of the year when it came out. Beat out Jeep, toyota and the rest. Watching one crawl through giant muddles using sometimes one wheel to pull it through it is easy to see why it's a fun car to drive.))
