I love my LS. And considering the quality and steel utilized. Quite decently priced, IMO.

I absolutely love my M7 (now that I'm getting familiar with the choil, that is). The overall build quality is up there with the best I've ever seen. And I'm loving the Sleipnir steel.

Lionsteel has impressed me.

Always wanted an integral... Well, a Ti version.

 

I've been really impressed by what I've seen from WE Knives. That one is certainly no exception.

I was tempted to order an SR-1 from Bushcraft Canada (I get a discount there), but the bearings and flipper on the new one swayed me. "Oh, it's only $35 US for FedEx Express to Canada from this US store" I thought, "Ah hel, why not!? It's only about $50 more in total than an SR-1!".

Oh how ignorant I was. How blissfully ignorant to the INSANE FEES AT THE BORDER!

This is grandma... she has two of her own plus one great. I see them twice a day or more on the dog walks. My boy will most likely put her in the freezer this fall with his bow. I'll be both proud and sad at the same time. At least with the bow I feel he's earned it. I'm way past shooting these guys with a rifle... just don't need to for me.

 

Pet peeve of mine : the countless YT review schmucks out there. The ones who speak as if they actually have real outdoor knowledge/skills. But after a couple minutes you can tell he is just a scrub lookin to score free stuff by faking reviews like many others on YT do. Worst part is this guy comes off like a bad infomercial. It's a Kephart knife ! Sheesh. It's very hard for a decent knife maker/company to make a bad Kephart. They all are pretty identical. I see this knife being no different. You'd think it was made by Jesus the way he goes on and on. OMG it does feather sticks like a sharp edged tool ! That's amazing! Praise the Lord ! Eat a dick.

I just recently got a good cell phone which has a great camera. I've been thinking about buying a large micro SD for it, and one of those little Gorrila pods made for phones, and doing some field videos.

Just not sure what I'd try to cover. Maybe some info type videos for the common man wanting to get into the woods. What to do to minimize the chances of getting lost, and maximize the chances of being found. Gear reviews, but legit "reviews", after a lot of use.

I don't know. Just a lot of work for how few people watch my stuff, and I normally have to do it all in one take, because my skills at editing suck.

My phone is water proof though, which is great for around here.

 

Yeah it's a lot of work, for sure. Filming, editing, posting and then hoping people actually watch/like it.

 

I was a few mins from seeing this accident today - Truck went in ditch for whatever reason. Driver or Passenger was lying in ditch with a civ holding his head. Sorry bout the annoying buzz in the audio, that's the dashcam.

 

That's a ****ty day for them. Hopefully they come out OK.

 

Aye. His truck was totaled,from what I saw. I just hope there were no kids involved. But 4 firetrucks went by me before I got to town. I also saw the look on the sheriff's face, and it was grim.
