LOL - I am doing the same thing right now.

I took a trip to the Dollar Store and walked out with a bunch of random plastic crap to make liners - kids beach buckets, binders, TV trays, organizers etc. $5 goes a LONG way in the dollar store! :D

I just started looking at this thread. I've admired the Junglas since it came out. I never bought one because I just didn't have a need and didn't want it just sitting there . But me and my son took over the grounds work at the church where I pastor and there are an area of brush that needs to be cleared. A machete would probably make more sense but the Junlgas would be more fun to own.

Get the junglas! Its a perfect cross over between carrying a machete and a hatchet, I think it was cliff stamp who tested it against a fiskars hatchet one of the most efficient hatchets in my opinion, He basically showed equal performance between the two. So the junglas has all of that, plus the fast snap cutting ability of a machete so woody vegetation up to an inch of so is no match for one swipe from a junglas.

I think I might pull the trigger on one soon. I haven't bought an ESEE in several years and only own the 4 and Izzy.

Well just ordered two tan ones. One for my son and one for me. He earned it. He is the one last summer and this summer has helped me keep the church property up.

    Very nice!

They came yesterday. We used the heck out of them. to clean the church property up. Man I think I'm going to love this knife. I've had my old 4 and my Izzy for some time but this thing kind of has me back wanting to buy more ESEE knives I don't need. I'll post photos once I find a new photo host site to use. I always used pb until. I cant figure out if there is a way to directly load them to the site from my computer.

My son says his going to be hooked to his pack for hiking and camping.

Just use the Upload a File option below. It's as easy as that to load photos.

Thanks I feel like a complete idiot. I've been trying with the little picture logo at the top of the reply.

It took me ages to work that one out as well. I think it's because we couldn't upload photos on the old forum that just presumed that you can't here as well

Pondering what mods to make to my new Junglas. Etching, stripping, 90 degree spine and some thumb grip file work are upcoming. Perhaps a small choil at the back of the blade for fine detail work as well. Never thought I oils like this knife until I used it a bit.
