Cool. Looks like a modified Kyoketsu Shoge.

@The Warrior, how are you like the 12 now that you've had some time with it?

Like it a lot. I know some say the weights in the handle are gimmicky, but it is a nice, balanced blade with them in. I don't normally use that size blade for chopping anywhos, so weight forward isn't necessary. I'm going to keep the weights in. Handled very well. Here's a massively heavy photo thread I posted at BF: http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/at-the-cabin-with-the-beckers-ridiculously-photo-heavy.1496668/

It's been a knife I've always wanted to try. The only thing holding me back is my Esee 6. They both fall in the same category and I don't know if it could knock out the six. Basically I'm waiting for a good deal on the secondary market to give it a go.

I saw your post and commented! I'm Jackal_727 on the other forum.

I too, have the 6. I like them both, tbh. Sometimes I like the Becker ergos, but sometimes the flat ESEE scales work very well in my big hands. I waited a long time for a deal on one, got tired of waiting, and ordered a new one.
