    I feel kinda bad for dismissing the jg3 off the bat, after looking a little deeper it's about everything I'm looking for except for sheath mounting options.

    I'm surprisingly leaning heavily towards the jg3 with an azwelke kydex sheath upon further research and thought. The jg3 gives me a educable size blade that is nimble, has a 90 degree spine, flat grind, decent to good ergos, can withstand heavier use, and can can be used in a variety of ways. Thanks to everyone for all their help and input. I look forward to asking for the opinion of he forum on further inquiries of mine. (Warning they may contain idiotic thought processes) lol. Thanks to everyone again.

    Here's a topic another addition to the thread just for fun discussion and banter. How do you think the candiru would do in the roles mentioned earlier lol? Not gonna change my decision but hey it could be third knife to add to my combo to replace my opinel pocket knife as a neck carry option.

    It would work fine. Not the best tool for the job but it has an edge and its better than a rock.

    Tornado Alley, heart in the mountains.
    I've handled the Izula (grandkid's b-day present) and while it is sweet, I'm 6'3 with big hands. My KAD is telling me I need (lol) a smaller knife. RB3, JG3, 3, 3HM, 3-3d, Izula-II, so many choices.
