A couple of times I have started to post a reply with quote and decided against it. Problem is there doesn't seem to be a way to cancel out. If I change to a different thread, the quoted message follows me until I delete it when posting something else.

No cancel button that I can find but I simply go to whatever forum or location I want to and the quoted message doesn't follow.

It probably works for you because Mike likes you better than he does me.

I know its an old post but just figured out all you have to do is delete what you've typed then hit the button next to the arrows and delete draft

It does not follow me, but in that thread it stays. So when I quote and respond then decide it's just not worth it or whatever, when I go back to that thread and decide to respond it is still in the box. You just have to clean up after yourself, it's a good life lesson;)

I hit the underline and the color button trying to remove the underline. Then I changed the font. Then I tried a couple of other things. At one point I was writing in red, in a weird font, underlined. I finally got it fixed. I may have shut it all down.

It doesnt follow me either but It sucks when you quote a huge post then change your mind and go to another thread then come back to post something and its still there. I feel like my x button hates me
