    30/06 for that one. I have shot a good number of moose with every thing from 30/30, 303 british 270 Win but the 30/06 is my go to for moose.

    The moose was shot in eastern Newfoundland Canada. Its where I live. Most meat I eat is wild game with moose the most frequent item on menu.. This one shot with 30/06 180 gr.Nosler Partision
    the pack is a Badlands Ox. ( with an Izula hanging from shoulder strap)
    I have lots of photos to add to thread when I get straightened away.

    I am more interested in the bird dogs, English setters looks like. What are you hunting, Ptarmigan? I suppose you hVe pheasant in Canada?

    I have two English setters at the moment. That is the least number of bird dogs I have had for a while. Getting a pup soon. I have always had Gordons and English. I hunt ptarmigan and grouse over dogs. I bird hunt. Too much actually. It rules my life. Dont work bird season

    He is my boy. No doubt about that. He took to using human chairs in the manner humans do (as shown in the pic) when he was a pup. He just then never gave up.
