I'm not sure we have one of these threads here and to be honest, I don't know who many of you are or why we're here so here goes. Besides, who doesn't love icebreakers??? I'm Dan, I enjoy long walks on the beach and long conversations drawn out over sunsets in the Fall... Oops, that was from farmersonly.com I'm here because I believed in ESEEs company model then found a bunch of people weirder than me so decided to stick it out. My tools get used in practical applications like farming and camping (albeit not enough) and if they don't get used, they get sold. I ask a lot of questions and never have answers. Your turn.
Michael here. Been cutting myself with these damn knives for a while now. Maybe 6 years ago I was on a quest for the "ultimate" knife. First came across a Becker BK2, thennnn came across a vid of the esee 5 killing said bk2. I ain't been the same ever since.
My names Josh and I'm an alcoholic. Wait wrong thread, I've been a fan of Esee knives since they were made by Ontario. It started with a 3 and the obsession grew, now I'm always expanding the collection and trying to get to the farm whenever the wallet can stand it.
I am Bruce, usually half way through conversations or post I forget what I was doing.......anyone have a photo of Expat?
Casey. From Georgia. Originally joined the last forum because the ratio of doers to talkers/collectors/ Internet badasses/whatever was better than anywhere else I'd found. I'm happiest in the woods and anywhere that I'm spending time with my wife and kid. I figure every day that I wake up starts as a win and go from there.
My name is Duane. I didn't really want to type that but who am I to deny some light social engineering? I live in Wyoming but am not a recognized Wyomian (by dept of fish and game) until May. I spend my free time plowing snow and marveling at how cold it is. I own two pair of cowboy boots, 4 ESEE knives and 1 twelve year old truck. I visit this site because I have where better to be since my facebook page was taken over by my liberal friends. They tell me knives are for murderers and 50's street gangs but I know that only applies to $50 knives and not the $200 variety.
Hi Allen here I am a kydex bender and started bending kydex and apprenticing under T.M. Hunt learning how to make knives. So how I got here was I bought a bunch of esee knives with the thought of providing you guys with custom kydex sheaths for your esee knives.
Name is Gloria Ole. I'm currently self identifying as a 4'8" midget with red hair and a huge rack. I like made in the USA screwdrivers, rusty knives that don't break, old cast iron, dried meat, big bore revolvers, and long walks in the woods with my sh!t eating dog. I live where it's cold but work where it feels like hell. My wife says I'm often socially inappropriate. Oh yeah, I like sheep!!! Hope I fit in here.
