So I've been holding one of the old prototype izulas lately. Gotta say it's awesome! Between the thicker stock and the sabre grind, feels even more solid and tough than a regular izula (if that were possible). Indestructible! Plus i do have a thing for small fixed blades.

Anyway i remember a thread about an ESEE 20th anniversary knife. I couldn't find it here, so it may have been on the old forum. Putting this out as a suggestion - a re-run of the Izula to the specs of the prototype. You could coincide this with the 100,000th izula, which must be coming around soon.

    Photos for attention!

It's hard to believe that this year we will have been in this game for 20 years. Wore out several passports and a whole lot of boots in those 20 years, but it's been a fun ride and wouldn't take any of it back.

I doubt we will do any special knife for the 20th year of doing this type of stuff. Launching Expat Knives this year is gonna be hard enough. One of these days I want to meet this guy called Expat because he's sure cost us a lot of time.

No way man, you gotta do something. Even if it's not a new knife, maybe just something exclusive for the year.

It was me that started the 20th anniversary knife on the old forum. The response was underwhelming from Esee, in fact I didn't even get one. I think the days of group but knives are well and truly over. Esee is missing a huge trick here I think, to make these highly collectible knives strengthens the brand loyalty of their customers. Surely it's not that hard to do a run of 100 knives in a different colour is it?

Great idea for a 20th! Never would have thought of that.

They should open up a "special knives division" that is one off colors, engraving etc. The amount of new knives coming out is awesome but i think that kills our chances of getting gb knives until it slows down. I blame expat of course. That is until the cleaver comes out and ill need that 4" cooking knife he promised me.

Your avatar reminds me to start the journy to locating a red esee 4. Just dont look forward to the weeks of searcing and the check writing.

We have some things in the works that will satisfy the group buys. Just takes time to build things. Just ask Expat how long it took him to build his sticker company.

Most of you have actually seen Expat, well sort of. If you've seen one of those Corona commercials showing a guy and gal from the back sitting in beach loungers with the Corona's between them, well that dude is Expat.))) I don't know who the girl was ...

Agreed. Can't let the 20th go by without something.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I'm almost positive that the name he gives everyone is fake. Hell, I'm not even sure that we all get told the same name.

She is a strikingly beautiful girl from Coatesville, PA. And I've never been the same since.
