It was good meeting you, but I thought you'd be taller.

BigJake it was a pleasure meeting you and Strig, it was harder than I expected but had a blast.

Strig I want to hear all about the survival intensive when you get back.

Dave the misses said to thank you for the headache meds.

My pleasure. I just enjoy hanging out with the Randall crew and catching up. Not to mention I always learn something new. For instance, did you know you have to regularly drink water to avoid dehydration??

That came as a shock to me as well. I hope some of the students put that in the suggestion box for next time. Hugh should really consider including "drink water" as a medical survival tip.

Had a fantastic time with everyone, you all did a great job. I liked seeing everyone push themselves. It was really rewarding watching the progression of skills as time went on.

Total food consumption: 1 mango electrolyte tablet (nasty), 2 peanut butter mre packs, 1 apple jelly mre pack, 3 pieces of beef jerky, 4 cold hot dogs wrapped in tortillas, one awesome hot hambuger and one awesome hot hotdog with mustard!!, one cold can of kids chicken noodle soup, handful of chips, 1 bite of expats pop tart (dont get dirty on me here; stay with me), and two bags give or take of chocolate donettes.

Side note: apparently offering donuts to cops invokes a slice of suspicion and discontent. Ask profession prior to offering donuts to anyone.

I had two turkey and swiss sandwiches, and evrything else was trail mix and beef jerky. I didn't get a nice hot hamburger or hot dog. Oh, I might have had an almond Snickers, but I can neither confirm nor deny.

I had a 8" salami when I started and a box of wheat thins. Had a stump when it was over and a chocolate doughnut (thanks Strig). The misses on the other hand ate like a champ, she had oatmeal in the mornings and bear creek soup and Lipton noodle side most of the time. Casey the burger were awesome and a welcome change to the on the go diet.

I had a bunch of pizza, burgers, Mexican food, Halloween candy, lots of Coke, several Jack's chicken biscuits, 2 Starbucks Chai lattes, a gallon of sweet tea, Wonder Woman Cherry Poptarts, and some Bojangle's. Overall, it wasn't that bad of a weekend. I stayed hydrated at least.

Nothing feels better after gremlin love than a big salami.

This was my first multi-day Hugh experience, it was great! I learned a lot from him and all the students. I learned that exercising sucks (for some), I learned that humans should drink lots of water (or goto the ER) and that Smokey C's burgers are yummy.

Its really cool to watch individuals transform into a effective team by the end of class.

It was good to meet you Mr. and Mrs. MtnGoat, Strigidae, Big Jake, Dave, Etc... (oh yeah thx to Expat for sharing his poptarts)

Is the poptart going to replace the honey bun as the new RAT staple?

Glad you all had a good time. Can't say enough good things about Hugh and still searching to find something nice to say about EXPAT other than his family is beyond reproach.:D

The best thing you can say about Hugh is that he doesn't have crackle lung yet from that durn fog machine.

Now I'm mad. I could have grabbed a cajun filet on the way to the ER if I had known there was a Bojangle's.
