Wasn’t going to be the first choice, but really ended up liking it.
Looks almost black at night, really pretty in the sunlight.

We don’t buy new cars very often.
Each time we do the biggest thing that always stands out is how much improved the headlights are. How in the hell did we see to drive at all back in the day??

Duplicate picture, sorry. But new sheath on top, chocolate brown n black, and the xancudo. Nice little blade. I'm gonna enjoy putting this to work. Just wish it was a tad thicker in the front of the handle. Also got some resin stuff to try and make scales for it. I like the orange and black, but some don't so figure I'd give it a shot. 20220307_145356.jpg

In a very long queue for this custom Winkler Knives full sized R&D combat axe, with black micarta handles, etched with tribal design, and a front spike on the axe edge.

about a 30 week wait for this absolutely lethal tomahawk to come up to Canada. It will be one of only two in existence up here. The other one is owned by a Canadian JTF2 soldier.

not cheap - about $1700 CAD after USD - CAD exchange rate, shipping, Customs taxes etc. But it's going to be a constant companion with me in the woods, along with my scalping knife (Winkler Knives Field Knife).

The glass protector fits really well and the bull bars not too bad. I wish they covered more of the bottom half though

Mail Call from THE CANADIAN OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT CO. , in Ontario Canada .

excellent Crew, service, and top tier gear.

I had ordered a copper flip top match case, Hudson's Bay Fur Trade flint & steel kit in a brass oval tin with magnifying glass, an Exotac FireROD XL (this thing is as heavy as an Esee 3 :D), some wax soaked basswood shavings pressed into rods, A case of StormProof matches .

Mail Call from @Sam Wilson / GEAR CONVOY!!

Drawstring tinder pouch, Olive Drab gunkote ferro rod, scraper, Allen wrench, and a handwritten note from Sam!

very cool ferro rod! Slightly smaller that Sam's first Generation ferro rod (B.L.A.S.R.), but a lot lighter, ample storage space for tinder, and a tiny button compass in the cap.

can't wait to use this FerroRod this weekend when @Twoody88 and I cross the river to Bill Robinsons old cabins on Hwy 3 here in BC Canada.
