    I will be there! Sad I missed the spring class but def looking forward to this fall one.

    I took the class 2 years ago i believe and it was awesome!

    If it makes your wife feel better, at least last time they had a flush toilet for ladies only!

    There is a Wmart I think about 15 minutes away. So everything I forgot/ needed was a short trip away. Plus IMO the day old Sub-sandwiches from Wmart make a excellent bum camp meal :)

    Everyone was great and I learned a ton! Hopefully the ESEE crew can drag in the usual suspects and the NC hoodlums and make the class even more entertaining!

    I’ll also be attending. I attended the class last August and really enjoyed it. So much practical learning and great camaraderie. Looking forward to it!

    Am I the only one who wishes October would come faster :) ?

    I’ve already decided to set some limbs aside to dry out until the class for better carving/ crafting material :)

    We’re supposed to bring our own limbs?

    Well 4 limbs tends to help at the class if you got them :)

    But as far as material no need to bring any gear that's not on the gear list. I just plan to bring a few extra pieces of wood pre dried/ shrunk so i have some to fiddle with..

    The day is fast approaching! Yes I realize I might be the only one this excited BUT 3 and 1/2 days away from home BY MYSELF!!

    Everything COVID 19/20/21 should be the easy answer..

    Now I just have to just find and attempt to minimize the amount of gear I bring this time.

    Minimal is best is what I figured out last time..

    @RocketmanDane I planned to be there to do another pig but my little girl has a ballet performance that weekend so I am going to miss it.

    @mtngoat
    I guess you get a pass in that case :)

    I think it would be cool if someone could bring a big Skottle / discada/ Wok type grill.

    I’m really hoping to be successful deer and bear hunting before class that way I can bring some meat if someone wanted to try some.

    I’ll be bringing some deer brats and maybe a back strap. Perhaps some pork steaks? I know James doesn’t eat pork…

    Last time I brought too much meat…. And was the only one that brought food to share.

    @Chris Talley
    I think 2 years ago I brought corn on the cob and giant potatoes to bake on the fire. BUT the roasted pig and (Crane?) we’re the big winners. Big meat eating crowd :) The corn and potato’s I think just took to long.

    I am going to wait and see what I can snag hunting before I decide what to bring. I’ll probably load up on a bunch of corn cob again but that’s TBD.

    I was thinking… (Dangerous..)

    It would be really cool if they were able to cover some basic Knapping and Bonecraft this year!

    Patrick said there would be around 30 or so people at the farm. I’m bringing deer brats and buns with condiments.
