Since you guys have been liking shivvy things, here are a couple more I tied up tonight.
And this whole model series was actually inspired by one of our fellow inmates here a bunch of years back:

In my opinion the prodigy feels way better in hand than the strong-arm does. Had one of these years ago and sold it. So I figured I better buy another one now that their discontinued. For $50.00 I can't complain. Also picked up a crkt m16 flipper for my daughter for $20.00. Good rainy day for buying knives hahaha.

Just got it in today. Holtzman's Gorilla Survival knife lol. It seems well built tho, came shaving sharp and a very crisp 90 degree spine. It came with one of the tiniest ferro rods I've ever seen but better than nothing. The sheath is kydex and it has very good retention, almost too good. For $28 I don't think it's too bad. Gonna have to put it through its paces and find out. It's supposed to be a neck knife but it's a little too heavy for that. I'm thinking maybe a boot knife. 20210726_112820.jpg 20210726_112848.jpg 20210726_113040.jpg 20210726_113830.jpg

I'm really kinda digging these condor knives, especially at their price point. Condor Wayfinder 20210729_055656.jpg

I've put it to good use and so far it's held up to what I've asked of it.

Tested out the moonshiner today and gotta say, that thing is a beast! Not too sure about the SRK yet though. It batoned well but I'm almost afraid to really put it to hard use. The coating started coming off after only a few times through some wood. The 4 just had a cameo appearance, I need to etch it first before it gets used. The 3 did a few feather sticks but the 6 did the most. Love that thing! It did get caught once in a really hard piece of wood and it started to twist. Luckily I was able to use a smaller piece of wood and wedge it in to free the knife. Should've gotten a pic but I was a little too worried about it breaking. It came out unscathed though. 20210804_192925.jpg 20210804_192942.jpg
