I'd like to see on 2 inches longer and a 1/4" thick at minimum.

I’ve been running two large tek Loks and an old chest wader belt for a good number of years now. I can loosen the belt and use baldrick style or tighten it and use it scout carry.

Very cool idea. Definitely along the ideas I had in mind. Tech locks make sense too. Thanks so much!

No problem, the Tek Loks also allow you to attach to molle loops.

Yeah. I have a few that I use on my esee 6 and 4 as well as my 3. I actually installed the one on my 6 by removing the standard metal clip plate and drilling a couple holes to attach the tech lock in place where the metal was and works absolutely fantastic!

It’s definitely a hard knife to not become enamored with. Mine is my second most used fixed blade next to my Izula II. Fortunately I work an outdoors job and get chop with it often at work.

I hear ya. I find myself grabbing it more now than my 5. Which was my most favorite until she came along haha. Just amazed by the absolute power this knife has! Was also able to get a nice made in usa sling for it so I have it setup for baldric style carry too. Works just awesome! My daughter doesnt let me use the izula 2 I bought her though so now need my own.

Sounds like we’ve got similar tastes lol! I tend to alternate my Junglas and my 5 in my work backpack depending on time of year or terrain we’re working in. I’ve always loved how the 5 “punches” above its size class, but it doesn’t match the Junglas for wood processing.

Well I wasn't going to do another project knife, but this happened to fall in my lap. I gave it a first sand and I'm kinda liking the markings on the steel so I won't be polishing it. It has a bit of a recurve on the edge so that'll be fun getting it straightened up but I think it'll come out ok. Scales and molle are soaking in some dawn but may need to replace the hardware in it. Only thing I know I'll do is put the bear paw on it. After that, who knows. This is before the sanding.... 20210831_125544.jpg

Why go to the trouble on working the edge? Its meant to be beat on and chopped with.

It's dull and has a few chips anyway so may as well. It won't be a full fledged sharpening, but functional.

Eh.. I don't cause they're harder to sharpen for me. Love the looks, just a pain.
