Finished off a bottle of Old Camp while I was turning wrenches on the Zuk last night. Didn't mean to, it just kinda worked out that way.....

Enjoying some tall hollandias after a good walk to the beach with my kid. The walk back up the hill earned my brews.

Rakia is made by the distillation of fermented fruits. The most popular one is made from grape, but you can use any fruit. I make my own twice a year - from grape and persimmon fruit. Home made is strong, the one you can buy is usually lower % of alcohol like this one - 40%

Rakia is popular on the Balkans, the rest of the world seems to prefer whiskey and vodka. I drink a lot of whiskey and vodka and all other alcohol but Rakia is King

It helps with my arthritis and anxiety. Not sure if you'd want to try it but it does work.

Honey Luna Honey Amarillo DIPA from Nocoast Beer Co in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Has a real malty ale and biscuit aroma with a hint citrus. That malt backbone with honey is there right up front, same as aroma with the biscuit in there, I think Marzen not IPA, even a bit of that banana in the middle then some citrus like lemon lime citrus then wham, a good dose of dry pine for a finish. Good, I don't get a real sweet honey but it's there, this is one of the widest flavor profiles I've experienced, a sip tells a story.
