Mosaic Dry Hop Pseudo Sue Pale Ale from Toppling Goliath in Dechora IA. Has that standard for TG tropical fruit and citrus aroma. Another fresh one, ripe orange, a hint of that pithy bitter of an orange peel, some ripe lemon and a hint of tropical fruit, sweet up front but the pithy dry finish balances it right out and makes you want another sip, Damn I love these fresh hazy IPA's!

FullProof 1792. One of my go to's that includes Chattanooga Whiskey Barrel Proof and Old Forester 1920 Prohibition. When you want a whiskey that will just kick your ass and then make fun of you.

Doing some wiring on the living room while we wait out the guy doing the wall and drywall repairs.

I picked up a 12 pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale to go along with the work...

I probably haven't drank more than a 12 pack and a few mixed drinks in the last couple years. The funny thing is that I have gotten into wine making even though I barely drink these days.

I started off making a few bottles with bread yeast and sugar added straight to bottles of juice. Then over the summer we picked some muscadines from the horse trails and I made a batch. Now I my girlfriend is finishing up drinking my 1st 5 gallon batch made from frozen juice concentrate and I have another 5 gallons just about ready to bottle.

I just started a gallon with muscadine juice, that my local Piggly wiggly carries, last week. Tonight I started a quart of muscadine that is going to be drier to give my grandpa and I started a 5 gallon batch of hard lemonade to try.

If this lemonade turns out right it's going to be super cheap to make. I probably have less than $15 invested in the 5 gallons I have going. The grape juice concentrate I think cost about $30 in ingredients. The muscadine juice is a little more expensive it's about $3.30 a quart just for the juice. I'm experimenting with the recipe right now so I'm not sure what the final cost will be. It's probably going to be about $15-$20 per gallon, but that's still only about $4 a fifth. New bottles are not cheap though, but I haven't had to buy any yet. The equipment to make the wine in is cheap as long as you don't try to get fancy. You can get started with about $20 in equipment. I think I am going to get some buckets when I go to town today to start fermenting in, then I will be able to start reusing my yeast.

OFYMD Imperial Stout w/ Pineapple and Coconut, produced and bottled for Eviltwin by Westbrook Brewing Co. Mount Pleasant, SC. Inky black with the aroma of dried prunes. Has a bit of that wild cherry syrup thing going on up front, the tart from the pineapple keeps the sweet short, that tart fades to a smoky bitter near the finish but the bitter fades fast to leave a hint of coconut and malt. Complex, I'll grab another if I see it.

This "Magic Crystal" seems to be one of the best vodkas I've had, especially for the price.

New Belgium 1554, part of the Belgian series from that Colorado company. I don't think I ever drank a beer in Belgium but this sure reminds me of some brews they served us in Luxembourg. Has some spice on the nose with a hint of booze. For sure some spices in this stuff, allspice maybe, has a clean fresh tasting base like a new blonde ale, I swear there is some Miller High life in there! A nice clean dry finish with just the faintest bit of clove like astringent that lingers.

I've never really tried shine, but learning both my bio grandpa and great grandpa use to run shine in Tennessee back in the day, it got my curiosity going. This apple pie shine was really good and might have to get a big jar of it.
Yeah mad dog brings back some good memories, and bad hangover memories lol. One drink I can't find is Elephant lager. This was over 30 years ago, from my late teens, though. A 6 pack got three of us drunk playing quarters with it.
