Always wanted to get one of the customs, but never pulled the trigger.

Don't remember seeing finger grooves as an option, last I checked.

I don't have the 110, but the 0500 duke that's slightly shorter with the drop point blade. I remember my dad giving to me for Christmas when I was 14, wish I knew the animals it cleaned over the years since.

I didn't know this was possible. Now I'm seriously looking at getting a satin drop point with G10. Thanks.

BTW, My wife will know your name and hate you upon delivery. It's all your fault.

There is a long list of women that hate me. Most of the time, it was actually my fault.

Man if I can find the old Polaroid, one of these cost me 30 some stitches when I was 9-10 years old.

The Buck 110 is the 870 of knives. When I was a kid, 110's were the tactical folder of its day. Then Sal Glesser came along and mucked it up. 110 easily makes my top 5 list of greatest knives ever produced.

If you were 9 or 10 years old, it was a dagguereotype, not a polaroid.

I'm just kidding. I think I'm the exact age as DJ so I definitely remember pictures you had to shake :)

Case had the lingo to the modern day tacticool back then- Mako, Hammerhead-sign me up. One hardware store in the middle of my tiny, rural town had literally hundreds of Buck and Case Knives. My dad was friends with the owner so I was allowed to oil and clean blades when I was about 6 or 7. It was an honor to be trusted to do that. The owner gave me a $2 bill that my dad allowed me to accept and I have it to this day.

IMG_5887.JPG Here's my custom shop s30v 110. Walnut handle instead of g10 though. I got this to replace the 112 I got when I was a kid and gave to my nephew when he started hunting.

I think everyone and their dad have at least owned a 110 in their lifetime. The ICONIC knife if you ask me! You can get their 420 steel so stupid sharp it's unbelievable. I think most have moved on to later and greater things, but this in no way, takes anything away from the Buck 110!
