How does it compare to a Delica? (If ya got one) Have been eyeing it for a bit, but have a Delica already....just curious if you’ve had both in hand.
Here it is between a Delica and an Endura. Much more hand filling than the Delica even though the handles are about the same length. Also, on the Rock Jumper the cutting edge comes back almost all the way to the handle.
Am I the only one who wishes ALL spydie holes were 14mm like those in the paramilitary/military para3 and salt knives instead of the 13mm holes?
Ah! Thanks my man! I’ll probably pick one up then if they do a leaf shaped one. The size of the handle looks great too. Really like the overall length of the Delica, but looks like the RockJumper may have solved my two major gripes about it. (Handle hight and feeling like the edge could have come back just a bit more. Especially on so short a knife.)
Yeah, locks right in to my hand. No Boye Dent, or jimping on the thumb ramp, but I don't miss either one. I would have bought a leaf if available, but I'm digging the Wharnie pretty well. It's been in my pocket for a couple of weeks now and it's excelled at everything I've used it for.
I agree. Been carrying an h1 serrated pacific salt for years. The 14mm spydie hole is superior for work with gloves. I also rotate the military, pm2 and other endura models in combined with the pacific salt. The standard 13mm is lacking in my opinion. Here is was thinking the serrated endura wharncliffe was my next spyderco purchase. I may have to pick up the serrated pac salt 2 in lc200n instead. Maybe both.....
These two get a lot of time in my pocket. Sage 5 in S30v PM2 in Elmax I really like the blade shape of both of them. The smaller size of the Sage 5 is nice at times.
Took the Sustain on an overnight. Honestly, now that I made a kydex sheath for it, I carry it a lot more. The leather one was nice, just never seemed to fit the feel of the knife.
