I have a dilemma. My sunglasses broke and I don’t want to buy new ones lol. Basically my question is, Do y’all think it would be ok to use super glue or gorilla glue for this particular break? Would the smell of the glue be to much being that close to my nose and eyes? Any other suggestions?

I only have experience with Loctite glue. There should be no smell at all when the glue dries. Perhaps the plastic might become white where the glue contacts it.

Don't do gorilla glue. It expands as it dries.

In my experience the fumes from superglue can damage the lenses.. it wasn’t pretty.. Glue fumes no good..

I don’t see a problem with the superglue smell wise but you DEF want to remove the lenses before you try and let it be good and dry before replacing them. I would probbably even carefully wipe the glue with a damp rag to remove any residue..
