I don't believe that has an insulated handle, so I'd not recommend that. :p

Cut and pasted from rmj website.. What sets the Shrike apart from other tools is the insulated rubber over-molded handle. The advantage of such a design is not only a great grip but vibration reduction and that fact that the handle is insulated. The Shrike has been tested to provide insulation up to 2,000 volts. If the tool is being used to chop through a wall and happens to connect with a live electrical wire, a good degree of protection exists from getting electrocuted.

That’s one of the reasons I settled on that particular hawk. @Kaw-liga really helped me make my decision when I asked him about his.

He will likely have all his axes there. I fell in love with the GOShawk. A lot heavier than the medium so it taxes you but it hit a lot harder and honestly looked cooler. :)

I was torn between the Medium and the GOShawk but chose the Medium because I heard more testimonials and because it was cheaper! You are the only one I know that has a GOShawk.

I'm glad to have been of some help brother. I had been considering the same two hawks. My heart went out to you when you told me what you were shopping for. I was just about driven nuts trying to figure out which one to choose.

Here's a shot from the day my RB3 came in. I love putting my H&B on spoon duty. It's been an awesome addition for kayak outings where real estate for gear goes for a premium. I'd like to try using it on my next trip instead of fixed blade and see how that goes.

Thanks man. Did that some years ago, and ended up selling it. I normally get rid of what I don't use.
