If we're going to dream? I could tolerate an ESEE 5 sized knife with an ESEE 6 thickness blade. Basically a shorter sized ESEE 6, but longer and higher than the 4.
Its thinner than the six but fills that space for a 5” blade that is not so thick as the E5. Might be worth a try for you.
Looking at Jeff's Avatar it is only a matter of time till we see either ESEE saws (unlikely) but at the very least saw cases !

An Esee seax is waaaay past due. A proven design and one that does 95% (+- 5%) of what you want a knife to do. Maybe in two sizes, one similar to the Izula II and a larger approx. 4" blade. If I could be king of Esee for a day...
Hahaha--it just reminded me that I've had them on file for years now. May need to dust 'em off at some point.
I was out making a fire last night, as I worked my ESEE RB-3. It occurred to me I would like that very same knife only with a high saber grind. I love the scandi for working wood. But a high saber would be perfect for most everything else. Same shape, same blade, same thickness, same handle, just high saber instead of scandi. My birthday is in October. Please hurry!
