They feel amazing, contouring on the front and back edges is way better than plain stock and there's just enough material removed to make the palm swelling without them being too thin.

I was always nervous to buy a set at the old price in the $70ish range cause the few pics I had seen seemed like they were on the thin side, but they’re actually not much thinner than stock scales. I’d say they improved the feel of my Junglas as much as the TKC scales for my 5 and laserstrike improved those knives.

Edited to add: they’re priced at $55 right now

My sheath setup for the last few years. Allows me to carry it over chest waders at work or with gym shorts if I’m at the camp clearing trails or working on foodplots. The old Magellan chest wader belt has made it a lot safer for resheathing since it’s not as fixed as just using the Tek-Loks on my belt. I can also maneuver it to my side or in front of my body if I’m on uneven/unstable terrain so that I eliminate the risk of a lower back injury by falling on it.

So I have been using the junglas for 4 days now. Man am I in love woth this blade. I made a teepee with it cutting stuff from 8” to 1/2” and it has handled it all. I mean I have learned a lot using it. I now know what I do and don’t want to cut with it. But it has been a beast and I would have no problem having this blade by my side in any scenario. props to whom ever crafted this bad boy.

Isn't it amazing what you can do with such a large blade? I never was much of a big blade guy. The 5 was about my max. I prefer the 4 overall.

But I beat the snot out a junglas I picked up last year. Worked it hard on fence rows and limbing small trees.
Then, kindling making. Used it to shape a couple batons, a maul, tent pegs, and I can't remember what all. Used it to build a shelter one day, purely unplanned, to get out of a cold wind while cutting wood so I could rest and warm up with a fire.

Love the junglas, really want to try a 2.

I'm going to be attempting to purchase my First Junglas soon from an online vendor....It's a less common color combo, and their generic pictures show The Skull Logo..... I'm trying to tell myself I won't be disappointed when it ships to me without it..... But I Know I will be, a little..... :/
