Been awhile since I've purchased a "new" knife. A few photos:

    Obviously a Roselli:

The handle seems short, but it isn't. It's tall as well. Those of you that know me, know I have some big mitts. All the blade you need really:

Ha! That was my first thought... this will never fit his hands.

    Looks great!

Thanks man, really cool blade. It actually has a 5" handle, and a 2.75" blade.

Haha, pretty much. I read it was actually designed for skinning moose. Here's a description I found:

With a shorter blade than on the Hunting knife, the Roselli Grandfather knife is designed for handling big game like moose, but also works as a universal knife. Made from forged carbon steel, the blade is slightly curved to aid in skinning. The short design of the Grandfather knife enables the user to use their finger to cover the tip of the blade to avoid cutting anything accidentally. The handle is made from birch, coated with linseed oil ensuring a firm grip even when wet. The Roselli Grandfather knife comes with a handcrafted sheath made from tanned leather.

That's right, I remember you talking about it somewhere else, It's the sheath that threw me off.

Doubt y’all have seen one of these. It’s called an ESEE 3. It’s decent. It’s no gerber but we will see how it holds up. Not sure who makes it. Some Rowen dude.

I’ve been wearing them since the early 90’s. My current pair that are starting to wear out are right around 20 years old.

    Here is my ESEE 5
    [IMG]
https://wildproofgear.com/best-survival-knife/ - Of course, there are more affordable, sharper or versatile knives you can find. But this big guy is the most indestructible survival knife ever. I guess all ESEE knives are so tough and durable. You can chop, carve, slice or whatever.
I actually tested many fixed blade knives "in the field" and have never seen such durable and dependable blade.

Got the Waypoint this morning, in the pocket it went, slim, light, aggressively thin blade geometry, sweet action, lc200 liner lock, no flipper tab, all wrapped up in titanium and Vanax super clean blade steel! Definitely makes for a really nice 2.78 oz. carry!
