    So after making a handle for my Altitude, I was playing with an idea I had for a while. I superglued one end of a braided fishing line, wrapped the handle, then superglued the other end and covered it in fiberglass resin. Gives it a nice grippy texture.
    Those of you who think their handles are too slippery can try this, if you want.

    @Paycheck what size line?
    I keep looking for “bank line” in local stores but can’t find any.

    Just a 50lb braided line. You can find them at Academy or pretty much any store selling fishing equipment.

    What epoxy did you use? I'm looking for something that dries clear, not dingy yellow.

    I used Bondo resin. If the line was white, you'd see the "dingy yellow", but it looks clear when the material is dark.

    Everfix or evercoat marine epoxy resin dries clear and is a 1 to 1 mix ratio. Which I am a fan of.

    Interesting. It does look nice on the green braid. I never considered background color would effect the look of the dried epoxy.

    I've used minwax wood hardener over paracord before and loved the way that turned out. Paint on a couple coats and you cant even tell the paracord is coated but it is hard as a rock.
