Good! I hate to think I spent that money for nothing. When I buy a quality knife, I expect to have it for a good number of years.

Well, we didn't cheapen the blade and then put new handles on it! It's an ESEE knife with new handles, nothing more.

Thanks. I didn't expect you did cheapen anything, just curious about what was different.

Sounds like I'm pretty well set with my old ESEE knives then. I can change the scales myself. ;)

I’m loving all the new stuff you guys are putting out. The contoured scales are the most exciting to me. I am glad to see that you listened to your customers and the market and put out a blade in S35vn. Personally I feel the same as Jeff. When I had a 3 it was used for mostly wood processing and small tasks. I didnt cut food with it and don’t hunt so stainless isn’t a necessity in a blade that size for me. A little rust comes right off with use...Now stainless in a small edc fixed blade is a must for me. I use it to cut everything from food to boxes and some small wood tasks. That’s where I think the stainless Izzy is perfectly suited. 440c stainless is tough, has decent edge and is easy enough to resharpen. In my opinion it’s the most underrated and overlooked ESEE. I’ll eventually pick up another 3 but it will definitely be in 1095

Just picked up the ESEE-6 Black Plain Blade with the Natural Canvas Micarta 3D Handle. I'm brand new to the ESEE family, but happy I finally arrived. The contoured scales feel great, are grippy, and easily support multiple hand positions. The color of the handle isn't as orange as shown in the pictures and is closer to natural wood. Glad I was able to score the new 2020 design. :)

Good thing the 2020 design isn’t as ****ty as 2020 is....
Maybe we just call it the late 2019 design?

Fair enough, and technically correct. 2020 is certainly going to be memorable, and unfortunately a nightmare for many.

I think I could become good friends with this one!

    And possibly several others.

Easy to do! I was on the fence between this one and the dark Earth blade/black 3D handle version, but went with the Natural micarta and am happy with that choice. I have a TKC kydex sheath on the way, so looking forward to using the combo!

We're making filet knives now? Maybe Shane is moonlighting with another knife company.
