Would love to get the 3 in s35vn. Been wanting a 3 for a while. Spare funds are going towards 6.8spc ar build...must resist temptation. Hopefully I can get my hands on one before they are discontinued.

I have no doubt these will perform well. Patrick could tear up a crow bar.

    Y’all have a little faith in S35VN.

Mine showed up yesterday! Been using it at work a lot today, loving the new scales. Still love my 1095 E3 to death though, and it definitely has a permanent place with me.

Yeah I have had a knife problem from age 5 the first time I got sent home with my knife in an envelope to give to my parents lol.
Junior high a few suspension for knives and explosives........needless to say my mom had to pat me down every day before I got on the bus. I got really good at hiding stuff.

This kinda honestly from a business owner/designer is so damn rare in today’s world. I truly appreciate your opinions on real world use of the products. And you’ve got the experience of seeing how we retards treat the tools y’all sell through the forum. With the exception of this forum most other places I see folks post knife pics it’s typical bragging about their “Gucci” steels and how well they cut the tape on the latest box from Amazon Prime. Kudos to you and the crew for listening to them members/customers and providing us options in a select steel regardless.

This is my interest in something in S35V, preferably the AGK if/when it happens or a CR2.5. I like the idea of the edge retention in something like this. The stainless qualities of it over 1095 don’t concern me because after 5-10 years of working on and around saltwater I’ve yet to experience rust on any of my 1095 Esee knives, but proper maintenance of my tools was instilled in me at a very early age by my family.

My favorite esee knife is the izula, very handy. I have two,one with tkc scales, although I don't think they are necessary on a knife grip that small. I had two esee 4's with tkc handles, gave one away,I'll likely trade off the other. I would like to see an Izula or Izula II in A2 or Elmax, both steels would work well for survival which is the main purpose of the esee knives. I suspect there is less cost involved in making smaller knives in new steels. Being less expensive more people would try them and you'd get a wider range of feedback on what steel is popular and might be profitable to offer. Just my thoughts on it,if it doesn't make sense it's 'cause I have a migraine this evening..

They are really hitting on all cylinders . I bought a pr4 and a jg5 and soon found their 1095 is vastly superior to any other brands . And now they are using 35vn. My only regret is i waited to try one .
And now all of these handle choices, yes !

In a nutshell, what are the basic differences in the old 3, 4, & 5 vs the new ones, aside from handles being contoured?
