Another Wilderness First Responder in the books. With 15 students on this one, we covered everything from a mass casualty plane crash incident to simple fractures. Of course, the hot Alabama weather and an occasional passing storm added to the experience. Excellent group ranging from college students to rescue techs and doctors in this 5-day class.

He lived long enough to give us the number of souls in the crash so the rest could be found and cared for, then died shortly thereafter with a tear in his eye. Miraculously he came back to life a few hours later and had to be rescued again in another operation.

That's just how Austin rolls. The man's like a cat with all those lives.
