aaaaaaand UPS has handed off my Weber Carb to Purolator in Richmond BC.........who sent it back to Ontario, to be resent back to BC, via Purolator.

So far thats 5 shipping companies, 96 stops from point of origin in the the USA. I currently have 12 tracking & reference numbers, the last one issued BY Purolator, does not track on their website. Called CS and was re-routed about a dozen times, all the CS and the CS manager kept saying that tracking number was NOT a Purolator tracking number. (but you issued it to me via email updates.......):rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Enter my Ace up my sleeve. I call a girl i know....we have do stuff once in a while ;) , she also happens to be the Canada Whip ,so to speak for the courier company. She digs thru the computers, using all my numbers and dates etc. Finds my parcel - raises bloody heck with the people that screwed up. Issues a correct tracking number and re-routes it Cambie & 12th in Vancouver (retail outlet kiosk).

So now it should be a day or two.

Yeah I saw that. Luckily they canceled the tornado warning for us that was until 7 but there is supposed to be more coming tonight. Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri are getting hit hard with storms and tornados. We had funnel clouds in Branson but thankfully no tornado. If you're in line also, be safe yourself. And thank you!

I think the worst is going north and south of me.

It hailed for a minute just now, but has stopped. Just super heavy rain.

About an hour north of Tulsa they got almost 5” of rain in a matter of about 45 minutes I think.

Hopefully so. We didn't get any hail here, again, thankfully, and barely got any rain at least in our area. There are flood warnings out though.

    That's crazy!

    @Drew RedBear
We will keep our fingers crossed for you and the other forum folks in the area.
Locally weather is really weird. A lot of the weather that heads up your way comes over us first but the effects of the gulf and lake pontchartrain actually protects us a little and kinda splits the weather around us. We could have monster storms on either side of us but about 20-30 miles safer zone in the middle it’s really weird!
As far as tornados they are no joke! We have had smaller ones barely on the scale but actual tornados miss the house by less then a half mile. Actually the amount of bad weather we get was a big additional factor for us ditching cable because every time we would get bad weather we would loose the TV service. Swapped it for a over the air antenna and Netflix and never looked back!
Luckily the fam has a very good tornado plan in place and we have slept as a family more the one night in our 1/2 bathroom on ou ground floor.. Amazing what you can do when you have a bunch of large blankets and sleeping bags then add all the pillows in the house and you have a big old padded sleeping room :)

21 tornadoes so far today, and nine of them were in Oklahoma.

Might be another one right now, not confirmed yet.

Randomly I’ve been trying out a pair of timberlands hiking boots I got for I think $t5 in never worn condition a while back. Really intended them as a JIK pair because they are not listed as wide which I need. Well after 3 days of weAring them I can say they will make a amazing back up/ spare pair to toss in my car when I’m messing around in the woods.
AND The standard width shoes have plenty of width. :)

Thank you. It's been an active day for sure and it's still not done. This pic is for 1:45 in the morning.

That's good you have a plan set and an area to go to. We live on the second floor with a bathroom against the exterior wall. It's better than nothing though. Capture2211.png

Finally walked out to empty the rain gauge.

    Just shy of 4” yesterday.

    Plants are loving the rain.

Another picture to cool not to share!
Saved this little birdy from being eaten by my dog... and put it back in its nest. 2 very angry birds were squawking at me so I’m pretty sure they were momma daddy birds and I had the right nest...
Checked on it after 2 days and it appears to be doing fine including 2 angry squawking birds today and all :)
