Will Mike be handling the "spa treatments"? I think it's a long term plan for global domination. At least once every year or two they show pics of a folder or mention plans for one. This is just to test the internet strength. Once they figure out the correct combination of specs and pics and crash the internet the rest will be easy. They're already operating training camps, buying Toyotas, have sent @bearthedog around the world to scout for competition or possible threats and @shaneadams90 is recruiting an "ESEE army" under the guise of building a lifestyle brand. Wendy is deploying around the country with Team Rubicon recruiting and tieing up loose ends. @Patrick Rollins has resurrected his alias HoboJack, the organization's lead hitman (squirrels my ass). @Expat is working on keeping folks distracted with shiny stickers. Think about it and prove me wrong. Hold on, someone's at the door. Oh, it's just Patrick Ro...
for the record...I ain't recruiting..........just organizing.....the Army was already there! I can neither confirm or deny the rest....
It's funny that you say that, because I initially typed organizing, but had used it already so I changed it to recruiting. Then somehow didn't end up using organizing at all, but used recruiting twice. If I had an attention span greater than that of a four year old I'd be dangerous.
I must regretfully inform everyone that member @C99c has recently been reported missing. No suspicious circumstances are evident. Please return to your regular browsing.
Coming soon to a dealer near you. These will be shipping to dealers on the card right after SHOT show.
At the risk of moving the thread back on topic, I like the rigging plate. I've used those for lots of stuff in the past. Smaller, lighter and stronger are qualities I like in gear.
We have a couple of companies interested in picking the rigging plates up to manufacture, but will most likely manufacture them ourselves and have a testing lab we use do the NFPA testing and certification on them.
If you squirt some JB Weld into the lock, you won't have to worry about lawsuits from people closing the blade on their fingers. The downside is that we won't get to hear about how Mike handles morons who close the blade on their fingers. All kidding aside, I'm interested in the folder.
I'm interested too. Not sure if the lock is going to be worth a damn. It works fine in 2X scale when I machined a sample of it, but once it goes to full size, heat treated, etc, then it may be a different world. we shall see when I have time to build it.
When finished please send to Lynn Thompson’s bunch so they can make a video of how it should be tested. I often find myself needing to spin my knife in the air, then whack it on a table to test durability.
Been thinking about another new lock also. It come with a wrench and two screw that you thread into the blade after it's opened. A variation on that is a knife that comes with a compact MIG welder and cutting torch. That way you can lock it open or close it when you get ready. Working on the patent application now.
