Exotac 12 hour beeswax candle , (Survival Mod)

12 hour beeswax candle, melted and tiny stock wicks removed and heavy duty 1/8" thick hemp wicks (they don't break off after being lit and extinguished a few times.) installed. book of matches under the tin. 2 x 5Col large EPDM Ranger Bands installed on tin, both for grip with cold numbed hands, and as extra fire tinder option, amongst other uses.

bagged up for waterproofing, and secured with two more 5Col large EPDM bands. Keeps it from slipping out of a pouch or pocket

I prefer our hot burn candleTIN over the slow burn just because of how strong the wicks are.

Have you guys ever considered just selling your tins? Something like a 3pk or 5pk. I have a few left over from used up tinder. I use them all the time to store everything from first aid kits, gun cleaning patches, and anything else what to keep dry. I think they are better than altoid tin.

No plans on that but our style tins can usually be found on Amazon.

Altoids and other Mint Tins are readily available at Walmart...you just have to eat the mints first!

Ok so I had a refil for my old nano striker xl that I wanted to put to use, so here’s what I came up with.

It fits great on my 2.5 sheath, even has the orange shock cord for when @shaneadams90 finaly sends me my orange one he’s holding on too.

Haven’t had a chance to fully test it out but liking it so far. The knife with all the gear in/on the sheath should be enough to cover someone for a min of 24hrs. That was the main goal.
