By all means. Have you checked out my older threads about it? Initial impressions, first hike with it etc. Can link em here if not.

It was the blade I threw on my belt when the air raid sirens were going off during the tsunami evacuations.

Very nice. Clean, simple, great lines. I'll search for the previous info you posted.

The longer I have it, the more I like it. It has a badass "trust your life to it" feel, but also has this subtle handmade charm which just adds a little something I've only felt in full customs.

Naturally, 80CrV2 isn't a super steel and doesn't hold an edge for as long as some more advanced steals, but it's incredibly tough and sharpens easily. Oh, and the sheath system is phenomenal.

If I ever had to pick a blade to accompany me throughout the rest of my life, this one is right at the top of the list.

ETA: Something I forgot to mention that I really enjoy about it is it's mix of modern and traditional. Modern materials, modern sheathing, with a traditional design.

I really, really enjoy that. No modern extravagant tactical frills, just old school class in a modern package.

That's a real beauty! I just got this Hess Pioneer this week. Made by some former Marbles employees.

I have a Pioneer as well. Hess Knives are some of the best values going. Love the stacked leather!
