Just finished watching the Netflix mini-series "Godless." I didn't go into it with high hopes, but it sucked me in and ended up being pretty dang good:
Just watched The Dark Crystal in the theater last night with a few friends. It was cool to see it on the big screen.
Stuck with Amazon Prime now. Not even Netflix. Searched everything. Started some, didn't finish. Watched a bit of season 2 Rome, but it didn't hold my attention. My kingdom for season 5 of GoT right now. Or I'd be OK with some Vikings, or Centurion. I liked Centurion. A bit cheesy in spots, but fairly solid otherwise.
By the way, later in his acting career, the actor who played the hero of Centurion -- 2nd in command on the frontier outpost -- got his ass kicked by Gina Carano in her film by Steven Soderberg called Haywire. I've watched it a bunch, and if I had access to a stream or DVD, I'd watch it again now.
I recently watched 6 Days. About the 1980 taking of embassy hostages in Princes Gate and the SAS raid. It was decent.
