I don’t know if they are here at the Show, but I could stop by and see if they are interested in doing a special run for us. If it’s good and will do what they say.

They came by the booth and visited with us. Showed me the lighter. I think it’s bombproof and leak proof. Told me to come by their booth and they’d give me one but I never made it. From what I saw they are well worth the price.

I've never written a review before, but I'll write out some of my thoughts on my Exotac titanLIGHT.

The quality of construction seems really good. The aluminum body feels great to hold and fidget with. The fit and finish is flawless right out of the blister pack packaging.

The "one revolution" cap works as advertised. The cap twists on easily and securely every time. One thing that would be nice is if every time I uncapped it, the striker wheel was right by my thumb. With a Zippo, you flip the lid and you're ready to light. I often have to adjust the titanLIGHT in my hand before lighting because the body is a perfect cylinder and there's no way to know how it's facing under the cap. This is not a big deal at all, but thought I'd mention it.
As long as I don't hit the wheel timidly it lights every time. The flame has been consistent and large, a lot bigger than a Bic's flame.

Filling the lighter is easy. The bottom cap twists off and there's a cottony filling inside. I was careful not to overfill it as I read that can cause fluid to leak out of the top and barbeque your finger tips.
I'm still waiting to hear back from the company about how I could get replacement parts like flints and wicks. They make a point to show how easy it into disassemble, but I haven't seen any mention of what I can replace an old flint with.

My one real criticism is that because of the nature of the leak-proof design, the cap is a separate piece. I could see myself losing the cap if I take it off and get focused on lighting an outdoor fire. Have you seen how the Exotac nanostriker has several threaded parts to it? I wonder if the titanLIGHT could have had extra, external threads on the bottom of the base so when the cap is removed it can be screwed onto the bottom keeping both parts together as one unit. There's probably good reasons why that wouldn't work. It won't be a big deal to keep track of the cap and this is nowhere near a deal-breaker for me.

I'm not a smoker and I haven't taken the lighter on any long excursions, so my lighter hasn't seen heavy use yet. I filled it about a week and a half ago and I've probably played with it a little each day. It hasn't run out of fuel yet and is still going strong.

Bottom line: I'm really pleased with this purchase. I think it's a smartly designed and well made product. Whether or not there's an ESEE group buy I'm seriously considering buying a few more colors because they look great and I wouldn't mind keeping some in different locations.

I think maybe lanyard'ing the cap with paracord, to something, or making paracord orange green tail on it (easier to see if dropped,) would be the ticket to preventing cap loss.

I do this on the match cases.

@Earthy could you possibly post some size comparison pictures with a Exotac matchcap XL or a standard Bic lighter?

I don't have the match case, but I took this for you. Full size Bic.
